A lot of them have an ulterior motive, they have something to sell but that does not mean that the advice that they give is not useful. Would you buy from someone who gave you poor advice? If they give advice that you can trust, perhaps you will trust them enough to purchase something from them at a later date. That is quite ethical. Always remember: If something seems too good to be true, you can bet your boots that it is.
