There are some special arrangements you need to complete two weeks prior to your move date id you are planning to drive your vehicle to your new destination. You must prepare your vehicle for the trip, you need to plan the trip, and of course, there is still more packing that needs to be done/

Plan The Trip

This task is mainly relevant to those who are moving cross country and are about to drive 2500 to 3000 miles to arrive at their destination. These who plan a real long distance trip must be prepared for the road. To plan and prepare your trip, it is recommended to use a map and a guide. Plan your route, decide how you will drive. Choose if you want to take the short ways and do most of the driving on freeways or if you want the small roads to enjoy the scenery. Keep in mind that this is a great opportunity for a family to travel and see the country and to enjoy the many attractions along the way that can make this trip a great bonding experience. Planning this trip can be a family experience. While planning the trip, mark down important spots on your route: hotels or motels, gas stations, restaurants or diners, etc.

Prepare the Vehicle

If you plan to drive to your new destination, you must have your vehicle serviced and prepared for the long trip. See your mechanic and be sure to inform him of your trip plans including the expected mileage this trip will add to your engine. Make sure to ask your mechanic to perform a thorough check up of the engine, tires, breaks, lights, etc. it is also recommended to look for a new mechanic in your destination city beforehand and have the vehicle checked again upon completion of the trip to assure that the long trip didn't damage it

As another step towards your trip, prepare your car registration and insurance. For those who are moving out of state it is important to check and confirm the insurance coverage with your insurance agent. Make sure that you know what are the limitations in the policy once you leave the state and if you can pay to get this coverage anywhere. This is especially important in regards to towing services.

As for registration: learn the registration requirements in your destination state and take care of all these requirements as soon as you arrive at your destination

2. Ways To Beat Rip Off Britain and Start Paying Far Less...For Everything
It's a well known fact that Britain is one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in. When most people shop they go into a normal retail store and buy a product at a price that they consider to be standard. Well let me tell you, the prices we pay especially in the UK would not be tolerated in…
