You can read everything you can get your hands on about
acquiring wealth, you can work 'round the clock to achieve
your dreams, and you can try every known method to get
ahead, but the 'bottom line' is that there really are only
three keys to success.

1. TIMING.

'Most successful men have not achieved their distinction
by having some new talent or opportunity presented to them.
They have developed the opportunity that was at hand.' -
Bruce Marton

It has often been said that opportunity will present itself
to you IF you are in the right place at the right time. That
is probably true for many of us. However, opportunity also
presents itself, sometimes, in other forms - in the form of
a challenge or an obstacle, for example. Indeed, most of the
world's greatest innovations came about as the result of
someone trying to find a solution to a problem!

So timing is important, and being in the right place at the
right time may be equally important. But it may also be that
you simply have to see a problem that needs a solution - or
open your eyes to a disguised 'opportunity' that may be
right in front of you.

2. HAVING VISION

It follows that if you can see an opportunity right in front
of you, you must also be able to see the POTENTIAL in what
is being presented. In other words, you need to be able to
ENVISION success. In order to set your goals to achieve
success, you'll need to know what it will look like when you
get there - THAT is vision!

3. TAKING ACTION

There is a biblical quote that goes something like this..
'If a man asks you to walk with him one mile, walk with him
two...' and the rest of the story has it that you will
personally reap the benefits of 'going another mile.' If you
are a person who DOES instead of SAYS, and especially if you
are willing to go another mile, you are well on your way to
success.

Here is where the majority of the people in the world fail.
They think, they plan, they sit around and talk, but they do
not TAKE ACTION. Are you going to be like the rest, or are
you going to go a step forward? Say no more -- DO!

Finally, I would add to these three keys to success one
more, without which the other three are difficult, if not
impossible: ATTITUDE. Most people do not believe in
themselves enough to make things happen. They think that
success is only reserved for the 'successful.' Quite simply,
that's not true. By knowing that you CAN and you WILL be
successful - in business and in life -- nothing can stand in
your way.
